two kinds of love
Film is a natural way to share meaningful stories, particularly public service messages on topics of contemporary significance that may provoke difficult but essential conversations about social behaviors. When working with young adults, educators can use film to help raise awareness, share information, and start conversations
This short film addresses dating violence, LGBTQ relationships, digital abuse and violence prevention. The film and discussion guide support secondary prevention through discussion of dating violence as it happens while also examining bystander behaviors and how to get help.
Educators can use the discussion guide to address stopping violence before it starts and examining healthy relationships and stereotypes. Resources and tips for facilitation are included in the discussion guide.
Two Kinds of Love was produced with the support of the Verizon Foundation.
